Shanghai is the third largest city of the world and hence offers all necessary infrastructure to host a conference. In addition, Shanghai has a very old culture and long history which one can still feels today. Among all Shanghai attractions, the most iconic may be:
 

• People's square [Wikipedia article]: the vast and iconic square in the heart of Shanghai features the Shanghai Museum [Wikipedia article] , the Fine art Museum (former race club building) [Wikipedia article], the Grand Theatre [Wikipedia article], People's park [Wikipedia article] and Madame Tussauds Shanghai [Wikipedia article].


• The Bund [Wikipedia article]: historical and protected district with a remarkable pedestrian waterfront facing Pudong modern district and its skyscrapers among the highest in the world.


• The busy Nanjing road [Wikipedia article], connecting People's Square and the Bund, that never sleeps is also definitely a must see.


• The Finance and Trade Zone of Pudong emphasizes the modernity of Shanghai and offers an impressive skyline that includes the Oriental Pearl Tower [Wikipedia article], the Jin Mao Tower [Wikipedia article] and the Shanghai Tower [Wikipedia article] culminating at 632m, second tallest of the world and by far the tallest twisted building.
